Aggressive and regulated chemistries reduce packaging to two questions: will the drum perform in your service, and will it ship legally in your lane. COEXCELL answers both the same way — with tested construction and the exact UN/DOT marking embossed on the drum itself.
The drum has to hold its shape and its seal against dense, or aggressive contents — for the full trip.
Howone-piece bodies with integral chimes withstand chemicals with high specific gravity; tri-layer construction keeps additives out of the product-contact layer.
Regulated chemistry ships on the marking, not the brochure — and PG I only moves in X-rated drums.
Howevery configuration is UN/DOT tested and certified under its exact embossed marking, from 1H1/Y1.9/150 through the C55's X-rated PG I service.
Not every chemistry needs semiconductor-grade purity — the spec should match the service.
Howthe lineup spans ultra-pure tri-layer models through the tri-layer General Application line for industrial and chemical service, so you pay for the specification your duty requires.

Also in the line: the K55UP where the lowest metal extractables is the priority. Certifications are stated per model and configuration — never generalized.
Every UN/DOT embossment traces back to physical tests performed in our Maumee plant.
Drop tests performed on-site as part of UN/DOT certification by model and configuration.
Pressure testing supports the kPa ratings embossed on each certified configuration.

Every product line is leak-checked in production before release.
Drum body weight confirms material content; gauge measurement confirms wall thickness and layer distribution.
Certification documents, technical data sheets, and test summaries are available for each drum configuration.
See the full quality processChemistry disclosure is optional here too — packing group, specific gravity, temperature, and pressure tell us most of what we need.
Packing group, specific gravity, fill and service temperatures, pressure requirements, and how the drum is handled and emptied in your operation.
Our team matches the duty to a model and configuration — with the exact UN/DOT marking your transport lane requires.
Certification documents, technical data sheets, and test summaries are provided per configuration, so compliance reviews have evidence to cite.
An approval for one configuration is never extended to another — the same discipline DOT expects of you.
Answers to the questions we hear most before a first quote. If yours isn't here, the form is the fastest route to a specific answer.
The C55UP. Packing Group I chemistries can only ship in HDPE drums that carry the X rating within the UN/DOT embossment, and the two-piece C55UP is UN tested and certified for Group I, II, and III with that X-rated marking, with and without a dip tube. Marking: 1H1/X1.7/250.
Yes. The one-piece body and integral chime of the IC55UP and K55UP are designed to withstand chemicals with high specific gravity, and a 300 kPa version of the IC55UP is available for higher-pressure service, supporting global transport.
Each configuration ships under the exact marking embossed on the drum: 1H1/Y1.9/150 standard on the IC55UP and K55UP, 1H1/Y1.9/300 for the 300 kPa IC55UP option, 1H1/Y1.4/150 for the vented K55UP, and the X-rated marking on the C55UP for Packing Group I. An approval for one configuration is never extended to another.
Yes — the General Application line: tri-layer 55-gallon HDPE drums produced on automated molding lines for industrial and chemical service. Configurations and certifications are stated per configuration.
